| I recently came up with a brilliant idea, what if us fans made the game valley of the flood? since that rumor we heard was fake, and the game wont be made by Nintendo. I'll only try to do it if you guys want to help, since I don't have the slightest clue how to make a good game. | Edited the link  Well, I do know how to make a game, but I can't actually make one  Especially if you're thinking about 3D graphics. If it's 2D though, you might be able to make it with some program like Game Maker or something. I'm not sure if I would have the time to help much, but if you want me I could do some minor stuff here and there. | |

| Hmmm yup, 3D would be out of the question, way too difficult, but if you wanted to create a 2D game you use Game Maker as Shora mentioned, or if you want to use coding you could try and code RPG Maker XP into a zelda game... I'm not sure which one would be more efficient... how much code do you know? | |

| Well, I actually have some experience in making games. I make RPG's, but they are 2D. I could help you with the Story, and maybe with making the game itself. I can already imagine the Story, and new Items and weapons are already infiltrating my mind...
I just can't imagine a modern age'd Zelda though... | |

what did you have in mind for the story? here's what I have so far - Spoiler:
it takes place between majoras mask and the wind waker. The main character is not link but he want's to be like link, and he also is not mute like link. And eventually he wears a green tunic as Link did and forges a sword and shield like Link’s, cause it can't be a Zelda game without green tunics and swords. eventually all of Hyrule is in chaos cause the real link isn't there to stop Ganon, and that's why our unnamed hero forges a sword and shield like cause he figures link isn't coming, but his friends and family don't want him to go cause it's dangerous and they still think link will come, cause that's what happened in Ocarina of time. also it is steampunk-influenced, and he'll also will have a a black horse with these ethereal white spots. it is a story of the apocalypse, but of course the flood doesn’t occur until later in the story, but when Hyrule floods, it does so in real-time. our unnamed hero will not have the opportunity to wander the world aimlessly at that point, it'll kind of be like majoras mask with that sense of imminent danger, as Hyrule Field and the Gerudo and Kokiri territories—all the towns aside from the Goron tribes in Death Mountain, essentially—will become huge bodies of water.

| Okay, first, we need to figure out where he got his horse, and if he has it already or 'rescues' it later in the game. Secondly, is the steampunk just now starting to develope, such as in, they just now figured out how to make muskets, and they only sell some at the more popular/big towns, and if so, do we still go with the idea that they fire modified Deku Nuts filled with Gunpowder? Or make it where he can still find regular Deku Nuts, and he can shoot them, but they aren't nearly as powerful as the modified ones. Also, about enemys. We'll need to think up some new ones, along with make some modified versions of old ones, as in, before the flood, they have slightly evolized, but after, they are wiped out, and most of them start out as small minatures of themselves, but look kind of evil/childish. And then the crazy Hero's name. Do we make it where his parents name him Link, after the Ancient Hero, but eventually, he startes to think that he is the hero, because evil is rising, and he thinks its his destiny to defeat Gannon?
